About Course

This course offers a unique opportunity to enhance your learning through weekly interactive sessions with Josh (plus full access to all lessons). Each class provides a structured space to discuss lessons in depth, ask questions, and hone your speaking skills in a supportive environment. Sessions are available on Wednesdays from 9:00 to 10:00 or on Fridays from 16:30 to 17:30.

Our B1 Business English course is designed for professionals looking to strengthen their foundation in business communication. This course covers essential topics you’ll encounter in the workplace, from meetings and leadership to managing remote work and stress management. Through interactive lessons and practical exercises, you’ll develop the language skills needed to navigate common business situations with confidence. Each unit combines speaking, reading, writing, and listening activities to ensure you’re well prepared for real-world challenges. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to participate effectively in business discussions, understand workplace culture, and express your ideas clearly.

What Will You Learn?

  • The courses are constructed as a self-study 3 month recurring course with real-time feedback from native and professional teachers.
  • Every lesson covers a different business English topic to help students communicate better. Each class helps you practice your 4 key English skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
  • Each lesson has 8 parts:
  • 1. **Introduction**: An easy introduction of the topic and why it's important.
  • 2. **Questions**: General questions about the topic. You can answer them out loud or in writing.
  • 3. **Images**: Describe and compare images related to the topic to practice speaking.
  • 4. **Reading**: An article related to the topic with 5 questions to check your understanding.
  • 5. **Video**: Watch a video related to the topic (a YouTube link). First watch without subtitles, then with subtitles if needed. Write a short summary and note new vocabulary.
  • 6. **Vocabulary**: Learn new words related to the topic. Match words to definitions and use them in sentences. Answers are at the end.
  • 7. **Grammar**: Focus on common mistakes and grammar issues to improve your English.
  • 8. **Writing**: Practice writing in different styles. Upload your work to Google Drive for feedback from a professional business English teacher.

In this final unit, you'll dive into complex topics like business ethics, consumerism, strikes, and company culture. You’ll also learn to discuss current events and navigate work parties with confidence
